okay now that's over with here's your advanced critique:
the dust and scratches seem like a "maybe" to me. you could probably clean this up a lot more and it may help the clarity, or if you're really trying to go for a dirty look, maybe tweak the color a little more
i like the DOF i probably would have done the same thing
what's that toothpick-like thing at the top?!
that's about all i can think of. this is a pretty unique picture in itself. is it just in water? is it a necklace? does this mean anything?
